Any estimate or quote provided by Pacifica Tree Services - whether through our website, phone, email, or in person - is not a binding contract until a written service agreement is signed by an authorized representative of the Company and the customer. Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of the site visit. Unforeseen conditions (such as hidden decay, underground utilities, access restrictions, or permit requirements) discovered after work begins may affect the final cost. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.
Scheduled appointments are subject to weather conditions, crew availability, and other circumstances outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes to your scheduled appointment as soon as possible. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows for scheduled service visits may be subject to a trip fee, which will be disclosed at the time of scheduling.
By requesting on-site services, you confirm that you have the authority to allow Pacifica Tree Services and its crew to access the property where work is to be performed. You agree to disclose known hazards, underground utilities, irrigation systems, and any other conditions that may affect safe access or work. The Company is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions or hazards that were not disclosed prior to the start of work.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during service. However, some incidental contact with adjacent landscaping, turf, or hardscape is unavoidable in certain situations. We will communicate any such risks during the estimate process.
Payment terms are specified in your written service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of work. We accept cash, check, and other payment methods as specified in your agreement. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as described in your service agreement.
Certain tree work in Pacifica and surrounding municipalities may require a permit from the local jurisdiction. It is the property owner's responsibility to determine whether a permit is required and to obtain it prior to the start of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pacifica Tree Services may assist in identifying permit requirements but does not guarantee compliance with permit conditions that are outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pacifica Tree Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of this Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
